CVU Dynamite (G99 Red) was crowned the champion of the Oxnard PAL Strawberry Cup Spring League. This 12-week league started six years ago and brings out some of the toughest competition in the area and includes Club, AYSO and local teams. Dynamite began the season with a loss against the eventual runner-ups but went on a strong run to the finals, finishing with a regular season best record of 7-2-1. As the top seed in the playoffs, the girls defeated Oxnard FC 3-0 and won the Championship against Silver-bound Oxnard PAL Blue with a score of 1-0 in a tight battle. CVU Dynamite was formed in 2010 and is coached by Head Coach Rob Looyen and assistant coaches Gabriel De La Cruz and Janos Gaspar.
