Each year the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, in its dedication to Youth Service, recognizes one young citizen from each elementary and middle school in the Conejo Valley. This year two CVU players were chosen as representatives of their schools as Outstanding Youth Citizens.

Jenna Bain of Westlake Hills Elementary and the CVU Girls U12 Blue 96 team, and Nicole Ghazarian of Los Cerritos Middle School and the CVU Girls U15 White 93 team were honored at an award program at Los Robles Golf and Community Center on May 15. Dignitaries from the County of Ventura, Conejo Valley Unified School District and the City of Thousand Oaks, including Mayor Jacqui Irwin were in attendance.

CVU is proud of Jenna and Nicole as exemplary representatives of their schools and fine young student-athletes.
