The newly-forming CVU Red G95 (aka The Red Rockets) took first place in the Girls U13 Silver Flight at the June 13-14, 2009 Eagles Classic.  The team went undefeated in Pool Play, beating Palos Verdes Exiles, Newbury Park Cougars, and North Valley Venom.  In the Championship Final, they prevailed over San Luis Obispo Storm.  During their march to the title, the Red Rockets outscored their opponents 15 to 1.  For the team it was a promising introduction to Club tournament soccer.
